Hey Everybody....
Sorry I've been offline for so long. Where I am stationed has practically NO internet access. The VSAT internet I have only allows me to visit secure military sites so, unfortunately, Ironmag isn't one of them
Still, all continues to go well with our mission. The hours are long and the only reason I know what day it is is because my watch tells me. Still, everyone is pulling together with focused determination to get through this mission and get home.
I miss you guys. I hope this finds you all well.

Without going into specifics.... It's detainee Operations at a number of Prison Camps throughout Iraq.

Are you getting everything you need over there, Wit? And is all of your unit getting packages for the holidays? I know it's a little late to be askin', but if you find out you or some of the other guys need something and can figure out a way for things to be sent, maybe some of us can ship a few things.
I'm glad you get to be home for the holidays, but can you get your unit registered on anysoldier.com or one of the other sites? It can sometimes be a burden on a family trying to keep things together at home and keep sending things over, and really crappy if internet access is spotty and you can't communicate more directly with home. I'm sure there are people on this board who would send a DVD or some M&Ms or Min0 Lee's famous milk and cookies...
