That is a generic estimate for caloric requirements. There is no cookie cutter answer as to what you caloric requirements are. It is there to provide a guideline.
OK all just a few questions, regarding FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal
Do any of you here use this ?
I do, as It helps me maintain my 2000 cal cut.
But the thing thinks that Even if I do no activity at all, I am using 3000 cals a day. That cant be right?, I am 5'11, and 190lbs at i think 13%.
Between 2000 cals, 4 days lift and 4x cardio a week (2x HIIT 20 mins, and 2x 45 min moderate cycle) i have been dropping about 1.5lbs a week. If i take my 2000 cals that i eat, and then burn off another, say 300 cals then i am 1300 under what fitday thinks is my maintenence. So surely going that low would put my in starvation mode? I havent noticed strength loss, so I cant be losing that much muscle.

I hate the search function, so I don't use my account.
