Arnolds Career
I was talking to a few fellows at my gym, and they all reckon Arnolds victories at Mr.Olympia were staged. and Arnold was taking steroids at the time.
What is your opinion of this?

well, the 1980 Olympia is questionable, but the previous 5 from 1970-1975 were legit IMO, but bodybuilding compeition is very subjective, so everyone always has different opinion, even the shows today.

Its all BS...Arnold never took steroids...He just ate a lot of protein shakes and worked out a lot.
Who cares how tall he is...he is still one of the best ever.

Ok he might be the best ever. He is my favorite ever. He is a champion of a different era, and probably gets more recognition in the sport due to his long successful acting career. (this is not an attempt to down play his huge roll in the sport. He would probably be no more publicly known then say Dorian Yates had it not been for his highly successful acting career to follow his career as body builder)

the only bodybuilder I know of that came close to Arnold in charisma is Gunter, unfortunately he did not have enough to win the O, huge but always had a conditioning problem and a bit too blocky.
