Lawn Bowling can be pretty demanding for the elderly. Last thing you want is osteoporosis kicking and debilitating your game.

A good weight training program would surely help.

There isn't a sport out there where weight lifting would hinder your performance.

In my high school, wrestlers were football players and vice versa. I'd follow the football program if I, like you, was brain dead and couldn't come up with anything on my own.

Just lift weights and work hard at your sport. Focus on your studies and you will be good.

Priorities should be with your education. You more then likely won't be going anywhere with any sport. Especially picking it up this late in the game.... so take advantage of something you can use for the rest of your life.... what you have left for a brain.

    lol. not a bad point.

But seriously, strength is good for almost all sports and, if you're lifting properly, there's a lot to be said for the discipline of it too. Who said you had to get along with the football players to lift with them?
