never played World of Warcraft, I do enjoy City of Heroes though
Do any of you guys and gals take the time to play World of Warcraft?
I do. I have 3 level 70 Characters, and I'm the worst player ever. But it doesn't stop me from having a blast.

It's ok to make fun. What comes around goes around.

Nope way too long for me, I'm impatient with video games I hate walking around and around looking for violence, I need instant mayhem, I want to be chopping heads off throughout almost the entire game or at least snapping necks or putting silent slugs through their cranium......give me action or I'll go to sleep!!!!

and drag down the features of age,

no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

I refuse! Afer battling addicions to Diablo and Enemy Territory I decided to hang it up.
no i don't

I'm happy to say I haven't tried WoW or crack.
Nope, but I have a friend that I never see that plays it any chance he gets.

I've played. I have a level 34 human warlock, but I got to the point where I had to start playing with other people and doing instances. I did one instance and it took nearly 4 hours. I realized at that point I would never play again. That was over 6 months ago, haven't played since.
Every MMO is a grind MMO.
I hate grinding unless leveling is fast paced.

It's very true there are some levels that are painful to go through because it feels like forever before you are done. Unfortunately level 34 is one of them. For that one we went down to Stranglethorn Vale and started some of those quests then north to Southshore to Arathi Basin, where you can get some easy quests with 7000 experience or more each. Then it's fast. Soon after that you are doing the Scarlet Monistary instance and you level very quick. Your mount is in sight.
The longest run is from Ashenvale to Desolace (not sure of the spelling), there you can pick up a bunch of quests at once and do them all together. That helps too.
Anyway, that's what I've learned. I have so much fun...

I had a lev 70 druid. Started raiding with a bunch of people (some real life friends)....and then quickly realized that these people are fuckin nuts! So I quit and haven't looked back since. Most of my friends have quit since then too, but we lost one to the game. She has not been seen since...![]()

WOW is far more addictive then marriage.![]()
I lost my boyfriend to the game - he games a good 18 hours a day. That's when I said "Would you mind if I started a character while you are in the raid?" Then we had something to do together again. Now it's the competitive battle of which one of us has the most PVP points.

There is a whole family in my old neighborhood addicted to these games, they all crowded into the sons bedroom, mother, father, sister and brother all obese to the point of maxing out car shocks. They sell weed from home as their only source of income, when I went to see them way back in 98 with some of my old friends they practically filled the whole room with lard all crowded round the little computer. My friend Eric who still lives around there says they still do the same thing but they had to move the computer to the living room cause they all couldn't fit in the room anymore. All I can picture is bread dough slowly rising in a little box.....What a way to live out life, as a little pixelated character running around an imaginary world earning points....

Now that's addiction for you... I'm very happy that I don't have that problem. I only play when I can actually sit down and enjoy the time in the game, and that is a rare thing for me. Hense the reason I'm such a bad player, I forget how to play between sessions.
