I'm a GEEZER! I NEED IT ice cold!
I'm there to talk to my buds so... a little less than warm
My makeup will run! So warm!
Keep it above comfortable. Just enough to sweat and not have shivers!
Above average! I love to sweat.
I need it hotter than hell! I like to see through GUYS/GALS clothes!

Have you ever walked into your gym and it's constantly cold? I think it really sucks! I should not HAVE to wear a freaking sweater while working out! I don't give a rats ass if it's zero below out! Even moreso, why the temp shouldn't match what's out side!
Damn geezers!
Worse off, I hate when people complain that the sauna or the steam room is too hot... so they shut the shit off while sitting in there laying down!

Its too cold in my gym. I want to sweat more. When I lifted in high school, our gym had no windows, air conditioning, or ventilation. All we had was a huge radio system that was broke, so I fixed it and claimed it which meant everyone listened to my music. The atmosphere was optimal for taking to the next level.
Modern public gyms are too comfortable.
“I used to do drugs. I still do drugs. But I used to, too.”
The gym I go to now is fine, the one before had ceiling fans constantly blowing cold air on you. Kind of defeats the purpose of sweating.
Not really sure how sweating equates to a good workout but I like it a little below room temperature.

I think the sweat is a mental thing. I love to sweat!! However, some people sweat a lot and to have cold AC blowing while doing cardio... I don't know how people deal with it. Personally, it would aggravate me. That's why I swim alot I guess and have a steam room and jacuzzi next to it!The pool is about 85 degrees, the Jacuzzi is... I'm not sure but very very warm and the steam room is unbearable but I love it. It has to be at least 100+. Even the Sauna is at least 95+!
I get this more in Connecticut gyms! Cold on Cold!!!
South Florida gym are more adjustable because of the humidity/heat.

I normally hate humidity and warmth, but when I worked out at my university gym I loved it. It was so god damn humid and warm, it felt awesome when working out. My muscles felt really warm. My workout partner, on the other hand, said the temp made him lethargic.
Once I'm out my ideal temp is 50 degrees super dry.
I definitely would rather it be cold than warm... It's easy to put on a sweater, and once you start working out, your body warms up anyway.
But when I worked at a gym we had days when the AC didn't work, and there's only so much you can do to cool your body down. If it's hot enough, like it can get in the summers around here, working out can be dangerous.
I would say ideal temp is around 60-70 F.

I don't really know if it makes a geezer per se, but my preference would be about 65 degrees.
mad hot
Around 85 degrees outside today. Not too bad. I have worked out in hotter temperatures when lifting weights turns into high intensity cardio. Not fun.

I don't care how cold it is. If I'm working hard enough, I sweat.

I agree there! 85 degrees would be excessive!!! At the gym I used to train at, gold's had a smaller room with legs and I remembered when the AC was broken. You'd see all these people coming out sweating profusely and almost passing out. I'm like DAMN, must've been a kick ass leg workout. Then, I walked in and it had to be at least! 95 degrees! LMAO!!!!

The most that I've sweat in a workout was when I did HIT. I'd do a normal amount of sets and reps for a 45 minute workout, but I do it all in as little as 8 and half minutes.
I had the A/C on full blast, but even then I had real heat issues. Doing such a workout in 85 degrees or more would run the risk of heat stroke, I think.

That's gross! Part of that problem is that some people keep wearing the same outfits without washing so it's yesterday or sweat from 3 days ago! I can't understand how people think that others can't smell that.
Idiots!
As for your nuts sweating.... no comment!
What's the name of this gym do I dare ask.

In Vegas I was a framer (I built the frames of houses). I once worked 12 hours on day that had a high of 124. I had zero problems with that. In jeans and a shirt, I can easily stand temperatures from 8 to 124 degrees.
I chose 8 for the low because that was the low two days ago and I was wearing jeans and a shirt.
I didn't say that I couldn't workout in hot temperatures, I just prefer it a bit on the cold side.

I'd rather sweat, cool is fine, I just don't like fans right above my head.

Since we are talking about sweating..
I never did sweat much when I first started working out. In fact, I never sweat that much at all...
Although...
I did have some sort of problem with my arm pits. They would always sweat no matter what. Seriously, cold or hot, my pits would be DRENCHED. There was no way I could ever wear gray shirts cuz the sweat pits might as well be glowing.
My dad prescirbed me this shit called Drysol (which I think has an over the counter brand now) and the shit went away.
Now I sweat everywhere EXCEPT my pits. To tell you the truth, I am much, much happier.
That being said, my gyms have always been cold when I entered, but I generate a sweat in under 15 minutes and my entire shirt remains drenched until I am finished.
Ive worked out in warmer climates (like in my class) and its safe to say that I like a colder environment.

I still sweat even if it's 30 degrees so I don't mind how cold it gets.
Now when it's hot you get to smell everyone's funky odor.

My home gym is outside, but temperatures don't have extremes here so it's air conditioned most of the time naturally....
