I cant see how anyone would think that movie was awesome. It was poorly constructed.

Watched Michael Clayton and We Own the Night. I didn't really like Michael Clayton. Clooney was great in it but the movie was confusing and rather boring. We Own the Night on the other was pretty decent. Worth watching.

Saw 10,000 B.C today. Thought it was pretty good. I would wait for DVD though.

"30 days of night" worst movie I've seen in a long time vampires look like slack jawed yokels that are offspring of the possum boy from Deliverance. How they successfully hide from the vampires is beyond me when towards the end the dude who injects himself with vamp blood says he can smell the blood inside of the people why don't the slack jawed vamps just sniff out their prey? I think producers and directors these days are depending too much on suspension of belief that they won't even put in the effort to try to close the holes in their movies.....it's a total lack of respect to movie goers but I guess if we keep lining their pockets with green they don't give a fuck......we need to boycott and tell these fuckers to stop paying the SFX guys so well and going cheap on the writing staff we can only be dazzled for so long until we get bored with it and start seeing through it and get pissed off.....
"We are like tenant farmers chopping down the fence around our house for fuel when we should be using Natures inexhaustible sources of energy — sun, wind and tide. ... I'd put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don't have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that."

And how easy can it be to "sniff out the humans" when there's blood everywhere? Plus, the vampires seems to be having a bit of sport. They, rightfully, weren't too worried about fighting the humans. Thier only serious goal was to keep their prey from escaping. Which they did flawlessly. They just didn't count on how far a particular human would go to save the others. Plus, I like Josh Harnett's acting. |

I had thought the same thing, but when I had heard the story before, it didn't all come together as well as this one did. I found the ending to be really good, and the part where Denzel pops that one guy right on the street in front of his family... that was so badass. Plus they had a tribute to Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali in it.. I hadn't seen that one before. Guy steals Joe Louis's date and was such a badass he got better seats than the Italian mob boss to one of the biggest fights of the century, in a time when boxing was the #2 sport in the US.

i saw all the movies that were nominated to the oscar for best picture, and i have to say the competition was hard ! no country for old men is an awesome move and is totaly worth the title of the best of the best !
there will be blood is a great movie as well,Daniel De louis is an amazing highly gifted actor ! unlike some people i was not suprised that Juno was nominated for best picture, that movie is simple too good to be left out,it is so simple and funny and yet so complicated and sweeping you away (i think so anyway). Micheal Clayton was a good movie as well, hard to get started off with it,but once you get into the flow of the movie it really gets you. Atonement was a great movie as well, last one i saw and i have to say it left a good mark on me. overall, great movies,if you havent watch any of them you should ! |

Shake hands with the Devil ---- Amazing.... very emotional and powerful movie.
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

i just purchased hitman, great movie. the lines in it were freaking funny. that would be my only problem with the movie to much comedy not enough death. love the games, they stayed with it pretty well. hitman is one of the better video games turned to movies that i have seen.
i bet in the world you live in every one is a pony, eats rainbows, and craps butterflys.
