Watched "No Country for Old Men". Thought it was awesome. Great acting.

I've been waiting for this to come. I think I started a thread about this a while back. I love when people get all into video games. That Steve guy is really a talented dude though.

However, I just find the last 1/4 to be kinda dull and find it the falling off... I suppose that improved the 2nd time i watched this cuz I used to say that I didnt like the last 1/3 of the movie.

"Before the Devil know's you're dead". Bad ass. I'm a big fan of Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I'm currently watching "Charlie Wilson's war". Again PSH is awesome. I didn't think I was going to enjoy this movie as much as I did. I don't like Julia Roberts. She annoys me. Tom Hanks was really great. I'm gearing up for "Lions and Lambs". Looks alright.

I've heard this from so many people that on one hand I want to watch it and on the other I expect to be disappointed...

I'm half way through "The Great Depaters" with Denzel Washington and Forest Whitaker. Pretty good so far.

I thought most of the movie was pretty good, but as predicted by a handful of members before, the PredAlien indeed screwed up the movie.

I watched the second Harold & Kumar movie a few weeks ago (Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanemo Bay) and liked it. It was funny, but far more raunchier and racist than the first. This is not necessarily a bad thing (it made for some really funny parts), but it kind of ruined the consistancy of the movies, given that the second is supposed to take place immediately after the first, and not all the returning characters acted like that in the first.
Also, the actress that plays Maria is 34 years old! wow. |

I saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall the other day and was rather disappointed.
It was funny and I found myself snickering at times, but there really was no LOL portions of the movie. Blah. |

Almost all of the jokes seemed so forced and, my god, the puppet shit was dumb and his song was worse. There was just so many failed attempts at comedy. I did find the English guy funny and that is really rare for me.

I watched Don't Mess With The Zohan.
Short critique: it sucked. Long critique: it sucked ass. I could go into greater detail, but it would all boil down to that. I also watched the Australian made movie, Rogue. The premise is basic and has been done a million times: a gigantic crocodile attacks some people. That aside, the production values are high and the acting is good. The cinematography is gorgeous. If you want to watch a good animal attack flick, this is it. |

I just finished watching Strange Wilderness. Yeah, it's a bunch of nonsensical shit and crude humor; but what do you want? It's a Happy Madison production.
It has no plot and no continuity, but if you just want laugh your ass off at a bad movie, this is it. The voice-overs of the animal documentary scene are freakin' hilarious. |

Adam Sandler movies have this "amusing, but not funny" feel to them. Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore were his only movies that I can still
at, though his other movies arent as funny, they still hold my attention.Little Nicky on the other hand... Are you saying Zohan is on par with Nicky? I cant fathom the thought. However, it does look like Zohan's trailers have shown all there is to be shown. As far as Mike Myers movies go, they all seem like perfect Dvd movies.

And right you are.
I saw Zohan tonight and it was about as good as Little Nicky. Maybe a cunt hair better. I died laughing when he pissed and spray on the cat. God damn. But that was IT. It seems like the kind of movie thats most enjoyable high.

There was just gobs and gobs of moments where I felt tense from hearing such dead end jokes. Ugh! Sadly Rob Schneider's parts were all boring. I ended up hearing the crowd make that "tch" noise (like sucking butter off your teeth) every time he came onto the screen.
I like over the top shit, but this was just shit. Ill be surprised if this movie stays in the theaters past June.
