    ice

When you are drinking something and you finish it, you probably eat the ice if anything is left. But did you ever take only ice to eat it and nothing to drink? You probably did it once but did you ever wonder why you dont do it all the time? Since it is so good after you finish drinking something and you know it is not the taste of the drink, it is the ice.

I actually do this. I just get some ice and eat it. Sometimes I put some lemon or lime juice onto the ice and it crystalizes into a soft ice like substance on top the ice. Good stuff.

I only do that with cocktails, I think it's a subliminal way of making myself slow down before I get too drunk because I can never sip a drink I just chug it....even when I was a kid I would get soda and chug it down till tears came out of my eyes....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

I did, this was back in the early 70's and I didn't know any better.....it did taste good.

I used to chew on the window ledge while looking out the window, most of the apartments used lead paint back then.

To this day I think that's why I am very forgetful,
