The idea of a NAU has been toyed with over the past three admins. The NAU could act as a economic counter balance to the growing asia bloc and the EU...regional trade blocs that are based on economic unity do NOT necessarily lead to a NWO or one world gov't. We are speaking about common economic unity not a cohesive military, not a cohesive constitution, or a cohesive culture.

Creating a one world gov't IMO is only a natural process in human socio evolution. If you tried to explain to a tribal human (pre 5000BC) the concept of the city state (ie sparta, athens, etc) he or she would be disgruntled...Sparta refused to be joined with greater Macedonia under the same principles. The city states feared a greater power of nation states. Can you imagine what the world would be like if we continued city state regionalism? I know I would not like to live in Feudal Europe.

My point is, it's only a natural process of our society. We tend to support the entity that provides the greatest security and greatest economic benefit to the greatest number of people (Hard shell thesis)...Its an improvement of society.

The author closes by stating if the "people ever realize what the few are doing with the manufactured zeitgeist, the system will crash like a house of cards"...we'll do you want the system you are dependent on for water, electricity, personal safety etc to crash. That system is known as civilization. I'll pass on moving backwards into feudal society, tribalism, or the stone age.

You talk as if the world hasn't been globalized before...is that a real word? Anywho, the world has been united multiple times undue various governmental systems, and failed each time. Lack of an IT infrastructure could have been to blame for the fall of Rome, lol. If we do eventually move in the direction of globalization, I am betting people will be less happy. With so many different cultural beliefs, religions, morals, values, races, and ethics, a global system of government just seems impossible.

    Canada, the USA, a Mexico?

That's like a racing group of McLaren drivers letting a guy with a Yugo join.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group

about another group that actually does something

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Absolutely not. The United States is the United States, and that's how I personally want it to stay, although that's not to say that this won't happen someday.

No I didn't watch the video, that's just my opinion on the NAU.

I don't know about that. Mexico has a lot of viable resources that have yet to be tapped because of their failure to develop.

No, I'm pretty sure they've tapped out their GTA.

    Let them all come here.

There's few huge communities of American retirees in Mexico. Pay for good security and it's paradise, without all the bullshit taxes we're subjected to here.

The problem with Mexico is that Mexicans live there. Plus, as a non-native, you're not allowed to own beach front property. Which would be the only reason to own property there.

And no, you wouldn't have all the bullshit taxes. You just have bribes to pay and getting robbed or burgled.

That's bullshit. Sammy Hagar's place is on the beach.

You just buy it as a "business" say, rental property. Make up some tenants and voila.

Rental or not, only a Mexican born person cannot own beach front property.

He may have found a way to cheat the law, but it may, at anytime, catch up with him. And *poof*, no more house.

It ain't Sammy. It's the law. As in, written in the statutes.

He must have a co-owner that's Mexican. But he can't own it all by himself. And a hotel is not a house. Which is what we were talking about.

I would love to buy beach front property and settle down with a fine little senorita. I could retire in half the amount of time and live somewhere between Mexico and South America, and live like a king.

I don't hate Latinos. I just don't want undocumented Mexicans jumping the border fucking up a good country like the US. The are poor, uneducated, and do not have any intention in becoming Americans. They want to bring Mexico to the US. That sucks!

I used to work with a guy who was the shop foreman, probably made 50-60k. But he slept in this tent behind the warehouse. Ate canned food and had a makeshift shower made out of some fiberglass panels and a straight-up garden hose. He worked 8 months out of the year and spent the other 4 at his beach house in Brazil. He seemed like your normal everyday, blue collar white guy, but he definitely had a plan that was off the beaten path.
