I have been to San Francisco, San Jose, Anaheim, San Diego and Stanford. I think it's best to go to Southern Cal because it will be warmer but it gets cool at night time. Cali is a very nice place and the culture is a little different. Great food too. Only complaint i have is the time zone.

I lived in Los Angeles for a year, regretfully.

I've travelled a bit through the entire state, which is varied and huge.

    What part, DB?

Ok after a 4 hour delay in Philly airport I finally arrived here. 11pm Cali time last night. I'm currently in Sausalito. Really gorgeous city. If I turn around right now I can see Alcatrez and the Golden Gate bridge. I'm in a banquest hall awaiting some equipment for me to install. 3 hours to sit around and surf the net. Ok the race goes like this. Day 1 is a time trial in Palo Alto. Basically San Franciso. Day 2: Sausalito to Santa Rosa. Day 3 Santa Rosa to Sacremento. Day 4: Modesto to San Jose. Day 5: Seaside to San Luis Obispo. Day 6: Solvang another time trial. Day 7: Santa Barbara to Santa Clarita. Day 8: Santa Clarita to Pasadena. Then I fly out of LAX. San Fran is really nice. The hills are awesome looking. Really green. They build the damn houses on cliffs. Expensive as shit. I just had the smallest lunch and it cose me 15$. Piece of bread with some salami and roasted bell peppers. Its was good though.

I talked to Robin Willimas tonight. He's is at the banquet I'm at. He was going to get coffee and I had just tried to get some but they were out. I noticed he was trying to get it to come out of the tap. So I said "there isn't any coffee" and he said "there isn't any coffee?" and I said "Yeah, there's no coffee". He's a tiny guy.

You didn't teach him the tilt method?

Was he outgoing or kind of a shy guy, trying to blend in? Did you get a picture taken with him, or did you feel it was too lame to ask?

It's always 75 in Hawaii unless it's 70 or 80 but it hovers around 75 most of the year....

He was very outgoing. Shaking hands and taking pics with all the rich sponsers of the Tour. It looks bad if I go up and ask for a pic. I work behind the scenes so I am suppossed to stay there.
