Looks like a handy thing to have around. I record lots of old movies from TCM, AMC, IFC, FliX and art documentaries it would be nice to store my faves on a DVD disk so I could watch them whenever I wanted. Also it would let me keep the hardrive from getting full and preventing me from not getting a whole show as I sometimes do when space gets low on my DVR.....
