Hell no, poppy seeds are delicious on bagels. Just because they can also be used to make extremely addictive drugs doesn't mean anything

    The hashish is good....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

When I was in Afhganistan (2004) we pretty much had the taliban and Al Qaeda on the ropes. Very little contact after the first few months. Of course.. we rolled like cowboys and didn't mess with the opium production.

Now we're jacking up the Opium Farmers and terrorism is back on the rise. I'm seeing a connection here. Maybe we oughta just keep those fuckers as stoned as humanly possible. They don't seem so pissed when they're high.
