    Whats everyone doing today?

I'm currently waiting for the battery to my drill to charge so I can hang some shelves in the laundry room. Then I'm going to get something to eat. Probably tuna fish on some whole grain toast. My buddies are coming over a 6pm to pregame for the fight we are going to watch at another buddies house. We are going to try a power hour. I never have done that before. Its where you take a shot of beer every minute for an hour. I'm curious to see how wasted you get after the hour. I think I'll be able to handle it pretty easily but we'll see.

    I'm programming a website.

Later, I'm going to make some honey-glazed pork ribs, seasoned potato wedges, and for dessert, some baked apples (Fuji apples stuffed with dried figs and topped with a little melted better and some Marsala; baked for 40 minutes).

Oh, and I'm also going to workout and jog.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Power hour is great fun - do it for longer than that. You'll be amazed how much beer you go through in such a short time, plus you get a nice 'head' on you after quite a few shots. If you can keep it up for the hour, you should be nicely pissed. It's not the volume of drink, but the gas of drinking a shot (use tumblers not shot glasses - get more in) every minute that will get you....

What am I doing? I'll be over at yours with your fiance while you are out.....

i got up at 6 and made corn chowder because it's a favorite of Tesla's, did some housework, screwed around on the pc, ventured out with Tyler and decided the storm was too bad to go far... thinking about maybe going to the salvation army store to see what's new there. or not. probably not. probably stay home n read the secret life of bees. Tess n Ty are sitting on my bed playing ATV 2 quad power racing.

I wish I was that young again. You could waste a whole day playing video games and not think twice about it.

Power Hours are a good way to pregame. I haven't done one of those in a long time.

try a century....100 shots of beer in 100 minutes...unless that is what you meant by a Power Hour.

got up around 10, ate breakfast, played some BioShock and ate some more, currently in the process of studying (breaking right now) and maybe going to my cousins tonight.

Woke up came to work, there now....

Hopefully when I go home I can watch some of the movies I recorded the past couple of weeks without being bothered....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Woke up yesterday after a moderate night of drinking, to go shooting at an outdoor range. Shot off 160 rounds on the S&W M&P, about 100 rounds on a 9mm handgun, and eight off a 50 cal sniper rifle. Then went to the outlet mall and got ten or so fitted Calvin Klein button up shirts on clearance for work and leisure (the total came to only $128!). We then went to Chilis and bought a party platter. After being told by the staff no one thought we could finish it before closing ("it's meant to feed eight"), we sat and ate one every four minutes until it was done; kind of like Double's power hour, but with food). All in all a good night.

I did some grocery shopping, visited a few relatives and just ran a couple of miles. Now I'll take a shower and go for a booty call.

This morning, I Played Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars while drinking morning coffee. I later went to the gym. After working out, I got together with some friends and played 18 holes of discgolf. I drove to the University to leach their internet access. I have been job hunting and downloading porn up until now.
