Thread: Is this news??

it would appear that it is in Hartford... I think a better question would be why is this news?

I think what I was imply was that there is a difference these days between what is "in the news" and what is "news." Perhaps a better way of putting it would be "is this newsworthy?"

My step-father collected guns. He had hundreds, he kept some in his house behind a false bookshelf that opened into a large closet you'd have never known was there. Anyway he was killed in his home not with a gun, but with a baseball bat, then he was set on fire and the house burned. I say ban sports equipment, people can be killed with them.....oh yeah and gasoline because it can be used to destroy evidence....

I knew what ya meant man, just messing around.
Personally, I don't see why it was deemed newsworthy, other than a rather inordinate number of guns. More of an 'interest' piece than actual news.

I wonder if they counted his socks....do you suppose he owned more than one pair of argyles?

Can you turn a regular skate board sideways like that?

It's a frebord meant to simulate snowboarding, it has two swivel wheel in the center and the outer wheels are a bit higher off the ground than them. it takes good balance but you can turn sideways and glide on the middle swivels or lean hard and use the regular wheels to turn it's a neat concept, but I posted the vid for the message about current media.....
