    Swimming Pool Conversions

Does anyone here work for a pool company or have experience or knowledge of some of the new pool systems?

I have an old-school chemical swimming pool.
Its a small inground play-pool with a hotub connected.

I've been looking online at Saline systems
and have found that they now have:
salt-chlorine converters and some other systems
    like silver/copper disinfection
    and ION chamber systems

I'm confused by all this crap...
All I know is the pool was a pain in the ass to keep clean
last year and my friends salt-water pool which is bigger than
mine seems like it is nearly maintenance free!?!?

    Any advice?

My company sells those saline systems not my division but they always seem to be pretty popular, so do the solar pool heaters....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

my guess would be that a salt-water swimming pool would not allow for growth of bacteria and algae and whatnot for the reason that that stuff is less likely to grow in a high saline environment, so it's like a self-cleaner
