No, he was not a Black Panther (to my knowledge), that is false.

However, there is apparently some approval from his campaign for a Black Panther party "group" on his website. You can read below for more details.

There already is a backlash. McCain & Clinton both are pulling ahead of Obama. He'll still get the nomination, but he's turning a lot of people off. He has time to recover, but this is what I was talking about awhile ago. Hillary has been scrutinized for years. Obama is a nobody. They are both pretty much the same, policy wise, and with Clinton you knew exactly what you were getting. The Dems took a big chance on him without knowing anything about him... foolishly in my opinion.

He's young.. he could have run in 4/8 years with more experience and more clarification for who he is. If he gets the nomination & loses, he won't get another shot.

    Fools.

There, fixed it. I don't think you need to qualify it with black, just American is more than enough.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

Blacks are at the top of that list.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Well, well, well. Just after Obama's campaign released a statement whining about how the passport information was a terrible breach or privacy and security.

Passports probe focuses on worker*-*-*The Washington Times, America's Newspaper
Two of the three contract employees had been fired before The Washington Times first reported Thursday on security breaches involving Mr. Obama's passport records. The furor expanded yesterday to incidents involving the passport records of Mr. McCain and Mrs. Clinton.

The third employee, who has not been fired, worked for The Analysis Corporation (TAC), which is headed by John O. Brennan, a former CIA agent who is an adviser to Mr. Obama's presidential campaign on intelligence and foreign policy.

The TAC employee is the only individual to have accessed both Mr. Obama's and Mr. McCain's passport information without proper authorization, a State Department spokesman said. That employee, who was not named, triggered an electronic alarm system, officials familiar with the probe sai

I think all Dems are big on entitlements. They believe handouts are the answer for everything.

Or at least they are using handouts to buy votes. It reminds me of a middle school student body election, "vote more me and I'll get you free candy at recess," only now its "vote for me and I'll get you free health care, free unemployment benefits, free welfare, etc."
