they could be satanists...??
Have any of you seen anyone with a tattoo of 666 ? I saw 2 people (seemed like a couple) with this tattoo across their forearm. Why tat up the sign of the devil on your skin? I know the bible mentions something about this , but i would like to get the perspective from some1 that has actually had a conversation with someone with this specific tattoo.
they could be satanists...??
White supremest also get 666 inked on them...typical Arian brotherhood prison tat.
satanists don't believe in satan necessarily

I've seen people with 777 what if that were the true number, or 13. My friend has the bar code across the back of his neck...many thought that a gov. program of tattooed identification in the form of scannable bar codes would be the real mark, now they think RF implants will be....these things change with the times. Some speculate the 666 was a numerical code from a game that was played in those times that worked out to one of the Roman Emperors Nero or Caligula or one of them. Revelation was written thinking the Apocalypse was coming soon not in the future, when it didn't they conveniently kept moving it's date up. For me it represents a gay choo choo train....

1.Satanists worship themselves, not the devil. In satanism you are your own anti-christ.
2.Satanic symbols are backwards and inverted so the real "number of the beast" would be 999

Actually the real number of the beast is 616.

<- that way about 20 more pounds!
I have a friend in the military with me who is a satanist. They do believe in satan, but it is in the same way a Christian would worship Christ. I, however am a proclaiming Christian all the way, but I do not put him down for his beliefs. Everyone has freewill to believe as they want...its a matter of if what they are believing is true. That is where faith comes into play....now as for the white supremisist....yes that is a correct statement what the above guy said about their tat 666....if you ever watch lockup on msnbc youll see some of the aryan brotherhoods with swastikas and 666 tatooed on their bodies.

Not every "satanist" probably follows the same rules just like there are over 2500 sects of Christianity, yes over 2500 f'ing times someone disagreed with something and ran away.
Anton Levay comes to mind, a friend of mine was getting into him during my high school years and it is not what most people presume Satanism to be - not THAT version.

Dont read revelation out of context...look at what it says in symbolism of prophecies to be fulfilled and that are being fulfilled...in the end it says there will be wars and rumors of wars...yes this has happened since the beginning, but it is even more prevalent today than it ever has, also it says widespread famine, earthquakes in areas that have never happened before-which is happening, the world becoming more united....they have been becoming more united over the past 100 years...look at Nato, EU. It also talks about the morals of people will deteriorate...in the past 10 years...think about how much deterioration there has been in the morality of humankind....I dont think it is something to be taken lightly or looked upon as fable or adventure, but if you really do look at the prophecies and compare them to what has been happening over the years, they become truth and as if they actually do predict what is to come.
it wasnt written thinking it would be soon...it was written to keep people aware that it could happen at anytime... and that only God knows the date or time....and to be ready for it could be tomorrow...or 100years from now...who knows...only He does. Oh well, this is an interesting discussion...back to the forums and health, wealth, training and just making fun of peeps...ha

The bible/heaven/hell is a superstition!
Sorry to burst peoples bubble, but there is something that we do after we die. No one knows what it is. There is something, but its not heaven or hell.

All the religions have it wrong they try to explain why we're here...we know why we're here.....The universe created us in an attempt to figure out why it's here....

Bee die-off a sign of the apocalypse
Bee die-off a sign of the apocalypse - Boing Boing
Grapes, which self-pollinate, and olives, which are pollinated by the wind, will not be affected by the bees' disappearance; Christians pointed out that the Book of Revelation predicts that a famine sparing grapes and olives will precede the apocalypse.
Don't look back ~ You're not going that way!
Yuhh, I saw a show on the honeybee dieoff but I don't think it mentioned the apocalypse
thats your opinion...see people you cant go around and say someone else is wrong just because you disagree with them...if you ever take sociology you will learn what is right for someone may not be right for someone else...so keep an open mind and respect the beliefs of others. Do not imply like you know concretely to someone else when it is your opinion...you lose the interest of the other person with an attitude like that because it is shoving it in their face or its like you are forcing them to say they are wrong. When I said what I said all I was saying is you should look at revelation not out of context but as it is written in symbolism...when you figure out what the symbolism means then apply it to the progression of how things have been going in the world and make your conclusion...in no way did I say you had to...it was just a suggestion and my opinions.

The book of Revelations is, as stated previously, full of sybolism. As far as prophecies being fulfilled as we speak...who knows? Wars, the deterioration of ethics and morality, disease and famine have been part of the human condition for thousands of years. My father was interested in this book, and used to read it pretty often. The one thing, or phrase, I've always remembered was "like a thief in the night"..... this used in reference to the time when the apocolypse would take place; Rather, the fact that no one would know when it was to take place, no matter how well prepared they might consider themselves. Whether you believe this "end of days" to be literal or otherwise, based on this "thief in the night" mentality, it doesn't make much sense to debate the literal or figurative nature of the book, or the Bible for that matter.
Like anything else, it was all written to lay down some basic guidelines for mankind. The same basic guidlines that are repeated in many other religions.
