A man is reportedly pregnant with a baby girl.
US man Barry Rogers and his wife were expecting their first child in July, according to US news service TransWorldNews.
B. Rogers, from the state of Oregon, was born a woman but had a sex change in which he had chest reconstruction and testosterone therapy, but no change to his reproductive organs, TransWorldNews said.
He stopped taking testosterone injections to get pregnant, B. rogers reportedly wrote in an article for The Advocate, a magazine for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender readers.
Doctors had refused to treat B.Rogers, including one that sent him to "the clinic's psychologist to see if we were fit to bring a child into this world and consulted with the ethics board of his hospital" , the article said.
B Rogers admitted his situation "sparks legal, political and social unknowns", TransWorldNews said.
