I miss TBS' Monkey'ed Movies.......did you know that chimps work for about 5 years and then spend the rest of their lives in retirement like 50-60 years sometimes. Cheetah from Tarzan has a home in Florida and loves to sit back with a diet coke and doritos while watching some of his old movies....did you know that? Others aren't as fortunate and end up in homes that are part dorm part return to nature type places.... They are one of few animals most people can't bring themselves to euthanize.....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
