Around here in NYC you want good service from a doctor go to a Jewish doctor.
The worst Docs I ever went to were Indians, never again.

You may feel this eliminates the job of many American radiologists, but I bet you didn't know that the U.S. government requires the radiologist in India be licensed in the state where the x-ray was taken and that they also be certified by the hospital in which the patient is being treated.
Not much help when you need it examined right now.

The government also requires we obey the speed limit.

My doctor is Jewish. Best doctor I've ever had. Tell him what's wrong, he does his examination and he tells you what the problem is and sends you out with the prescription you need. No mumbo jumbo, no "I don't know, but here's a prescription. Call the ER if you have problems" and no wondering whether or not he understood you.

How does having the ability to send an x-ray overseas change this? I think you are missing the point. An American hospital is not going to lay off all its radiologists and have all the work outsourced to India; they are going to have a radiologist in India in addition to staff in the U.S. so that x-rays may be read 24/7.

Are you implying that U.S. hospitals, most of which are funded by the government, do not follow government regulations? I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but in this case, it doesn't seem very plausible or easy to do to. Kind of a bad analogy, given that you're comparing the actions of individual citizens against the actions of an entire institution, of which are mostly government funded.

I would imagine it would be hard for AT&T to find Americans who will except dirt as their currency as well.

Why? A digital X-ray can be sent over the net and there is no speed limit on that superhighway. I've gone to get an xray then by the time I got back to the building across the way my doctor has them up on his computer and looks them over, of course it also goes to a radiologist who will analyze it more thoroughly and I think do some enhancements if needed. If I needed to see the doctor first thing in the morning he could zap it off to an Indian professional and get a response by the time he shows up in the office the next day....

You're going to leave your fate in the hands of somebody who may or may not be qualified to look at an x-ray?

I live and was born here in the US of A .

Or are you talking about Indians? Because I was unaware that they have a tradition of murdering newborns if they are female (I presume that is "the wrong gender").
