I do talk to myself but mostly to cut out the noise around me. Sort of so I can hear myself think.
When you are trying to push something heavy.. you might.. "This.. is.. heavy!" You say it not loud but enough for the people around you to listen. You are talking to yourself but you are also expecting at least a nod from someone else.
Maybe like when the spaceship is coming in those science fiction movies.. There is always someone saying.. "Oh... my.. God"
Like if you were at work now and you saw a Vieope thread.. you said.. "This..is.. awesome. A... Vieope...thread.. on monday."

Actually, I am pretty surprised Vieope started a thread like this..
When I dont go to school for a day or make some other sort of decision that isnt favorable, I talk to myself after I MAKE that decision. Its almost like beating myself up a bit in exchange for making such a decision.
"Why didnt I go? Well, I couldnt do a good job anyway today."
Kinda sucks. Makes me not run with any decision I make.![]()

I don't talk to myself out loud, almost everything is internal dialog. Only thing I say out loud is when I'm busy doing something then get interrupted when I return to what I was working on I'll say "Alright, where was I?" out loud. Oh and if I'm busy and keep getting phone calls I'll say "fucking come on give me a break this is ridiculous!!!"
If I did talk out loud people would think I was schizo because I'll have 2 or 3 different conversations in my head when I'm multi-tasking.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

when Tyler was a baby he would roll his eyes dramatically. i finally realized he was copying something i do when i'm on the phone and frustratedly dealing with some moron.
Don't look back ~ You're not going that way!

I mutter, "fucking idiot", all the time in the gym! Not to myself, of course. I'm too awesome. I do this to other people, because they are douchebags.

I talk to myself constantly but in my head. Sometimes if its something anxious then it'll seap out and I might say something. It's a shame though, I think I say some of the most clever and creative things in my head
lately Tanya has had a problem of talking to herself that we've been trying to figure out. It just kinda popped up out of nowhere. It's really strange when you hear someone in a room by herself just start spitting out a one way conversation
I'm pretty vocal with inner thoughts, often to the point I can get funny looks for almost nonsensical sentences that I spout at times. Other times, just plain offensive.
The worst times are when I've had a drink or two, and find something really funny about someone, like a cracking insult, and said it, instead of thinking it. I've almost been hit a few times from that, and threatened loads/ Its even worse when I can't stop laughing afterwards.

^lol @ goob.
I get similar things, sometimes ill be pissed that i crack great jokes about stuff to myself when nobody else is there...its annoying because the joke is wasted, and i feel like an idiot.
I pretty much commentate my life though. I can't help it, i've always been like that.

inner thoughts, hell yeah - but I try not to let them get out, at least not so that others can hear
