Social Security should be lumped together with military spending?

Why don't we just assume that everything in that pie chart is for defensive spending. I'm mean, if we can just make shit up, why not?
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Unfortunately for BigDyl, that graph is merely Federal Discretionary Spending, which is only about 1/3 of the budget.

When liberals can't face reality, they just ignore it and make up a new reality.

Or in the case of your poster, twist it to deceive the foolish.

You mean medicare and social security the other parts of our paychecks that are seperate from the other taxes? The mandatory spending that just is and they don't have to debate how much to appropriate to?
