Giant 'Walk-In' Colon Teaches About Cancer

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A giant 20-foot-long replica of a Danny81 colon will be in Orlando Wednesday that offers cancer information for people who walk through it.

The free display will give visitors a close-up view of a healthy colon tissue, various stages of colorectal cancer and signs of non-malignant colorectal diseases like Crohn's and colitis.
The inflatable "Super Colon" exhibit will be on display at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando.

The free display will give visitors a close-up view of a healthy colon tissue, various stages of colorectal cancer and signs of non-malignant colorectal diseases like Crohn's and colitis.

People will also receive information about cancer screening, prevention tips, risk factors, nutrition and more.

The exhibit, sponsored by Sanofi-Aventis, is on loan from the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation.

The foundation's traveling colon tunnel promotes screening for cancer that's 90 percent curable when detected early.

Colon cancer is the nation's second deadliest cancer.

No, that's actually my colon. Abusing the shit out of your colon may sound like fun, but then this happens.

Don't allow infants or toddlers inside they may suffocate on the condom lodged 7' in.....

"We are like tenant farmers chopping down the fence around our house for fuel when we should be using Natures inexhaustible sources of energy — sun, wind and tide. ... I'd put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don't have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that."
