    Sleeping Bags!

Sleeping Bag Shaped Like Your Body » » The Coolest Gifts

A sleeping bag that is shaped like your body…I can’t believe that it’s never been thought of before!

A traditional sleeping bags usually does a good job of keeping you warm…after all, that’s what it was designed to do. The problem is that they keep you warm by keeping you squeezed together, so it feels very confining.

This cool new sleeping bag design allows you to flop around in your sleep as much as you need to, while still keeping you warm in temps as low as -8.4C

not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear

Dude when you are toting 50Lbs worth of shit up a mountain with thin oxygen.

Every ounce counts, and every one of those zippers is a few ounces.

Besides... The idea behind a sleeping bag is to contain your body heat...
IE: arms and legs in the same insulated space as your torso

They say the large one of those is 4.34Lbs, and is good down to 16degF...

Here is a comperable bag at 15degF, and the same price $180... 2.87Lb
And a 15degF DOWN sleeping bag is less than 2.5Lb

Thats a synthetic bag don't you know down is lighter and more compressible? I would have liked that bag for when I went hunting with my pop, the worst part of getting up in the mornings was getting out of the bag....I would have stayed in that thing to the last minute. Too bad they don't have the zipper in the front in a bottom up design so you could take a leak......that would kick ass. Wake up in the morning, take a leak and never have to leave your bag...... Where I would have liked to have this the most was in the Navy, the Radio Room where I worked had to stay chilled because of all the expensive comm equipment sometimes it would be 50 degrees in their we would have our wool blankets huddled up at our watch stations. Those would have been the best for staying warm in that frigid place....

Actually though after a couple nights my body would get used to the cold and it wouldn't bother me so much.
