145 sounds abit light for your hight if you ask me. Have you recently tested you 1 rep max on your big 3 lifts (squat, deadlift, benchpress)? Just wondering your power to weight ratio.

I honestly don't think you could deadlift 315 five times with proper form.

    Great instructional ^^^

Snap the jab more. IMO you don't have to worry about moving the bag so much with each jab. Just get the form and snap down. Make sure you're not too close to the bag.

goodfella the video says no longer available. i bet there good though.

danny i agree with goodfella, dont try to move the bag so much. actually try to snap your jad and not make the bag move. sounds weird, but it works! just SNAP it! i couldnt tell about your foot work, but it looks like your just leaning in with your upper body, dont lean in with your upper body. step in with your lead leg, push with that back. it looks like your planting your feet and leaning in with it. i will say it is an improvement from your last videos!

Link if it doesn't work: YouTube - Boxing - Jab Demonstrations

Link if it doesn't work: YouTube - boxing left jab training

(I don't know why they're not working, they're fine on the site). First one is really good. Gives a bunch of different looks on the jab.

Basically throwing it and when it lands, bring it back just as fast as you threw it to get that 'snapping' effect. Similar to flicking someone's ass with a towel or something.

The jab is good to use for power sometimes, but it's mostly a set up punch or measuring stick for your big right or other power shots. Create distance with it to keep your opponent at bay for defensive purposes and also to measure for your straight right or whatever. I think you might be putting too much into it and sacrificing form/technique. It'll get better with good coaching though. Where do you train?

Get some Paulie Malignaggi or Winky Wright footage for further technique. Two of the best jabbers currently.

Kind of like cracking a whip, you want to get it to the target fast and back fast. Thats what I told you in the other video thread. Stop trying to power through every blow, your pushing the bag more than you are punching it.....your jab is sticking to the bag as if it were a tar baby....
