The prosecutor tried that apology letter shit with me when I beat up the 2 guys in Waikiki back in 98. I told them I wasn't doing anything until I'd talked with my attorney. But I have an uncanny sense of deception and I didn't trust they way they were telling me how my punishment would be less if I had apologized. Then my trial came up and they had to dismiss because the guys were from Canada and wouldn't fly all the way back to testify. That case was BS anyhow because they knocked an old lady down and I had confronted them. Only reason I got in trouble was because cops in Hawaii hate military guys so they pinned all the blame on me...

It's a locals thing, most of the local cops hate on any outsider just like most of the other locals, but they especially hate the military. Why i don't know since military and outsider tourists are their bread and butter..

Don't tell the cops you barely shoved a girl, or even that you just breathed on her and she fell over, don't even admit to being or not admit to being at the scene when she fell down. Just plead the fif, plead the fif and you will be less likely to get in any trouble....

Gotcha. With the thread being surrounded by quotes, I thought the vid might explain as to why this would be a DUMB idea.

In any case, I actually got arrested again recently and won that shit. The first thing the lawyer said was "didnt anyone ever tell you to never talk to the police?" Words of wisdom cuz this shit scared this hell out of me.
