    Conan's Replacement, Jimmy Fallon?!?!?!?!

Its rumored and supposed to be announced sometime in the near future that Kimmy Fallon will be Conan's replacement when Conan fills Letterman's spot.

I fucking hate this guy and thinks its one of the worst choices possible.

If you find him humorous you are under the age of 14 or a fucking retard.

    Jay Leno, not Letterman.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

100% Agree. I don't think Leno is retiring, though. I think 3yrs ago Conan was going to look elsewhere for Leno's time slot and NBC didn't want to lose him so they asked Jay if he would be down for finishing in 3yrs and he said yes. Now, Leno is not so sure and NBC is on the hook for the contract they offered Conan, so Leno is going to leave NBC, hoping to move to Fox or oust Kimmel.

I heard Leno was going to step down in 2010 (5 years after the original announcement) to let Conan take his place because he wanted to give Conan his chance to shine.

I think Leno beats Letterman. I used to love Conan, but he's gotten annoying over the past few years. Either way, Jimmy Fallon would be a huge step down in my opinion. I don't think I would watch Late Night with Jimmy Fallon unless for the specific guest or musical performance.

a truer statement has never been said.

I like Conan and watch his show pretty often, but I can't help but feel he hates his job. I would too if I were him though, he's an amazing talent who is so naturally, super funny but he's never allowed to use it because he has to recite the same skit comedy for years that someone else writes. The best Conan shows since Andy's departure was during the writer's strike when Conan got to improv alot. Occasionally they still allow him to do some improv, but it's very little compared to the singing ghost from the 20's (or wutever). Granted I love a good masterbating bear as much as the next guy, but still...

also, I hate how scripted the interviews have seemed lately. Especially when comedians are on. "Tell me, what do you think about the political situation?" -insert guest's standup routine-

I like the Carson Daly show for the opposite reasons: He's not funny at all (in a standup sense) but he is an outstanding interviewer. I hope he gets Conan's spot cuz he really deserves more than the 20 minute spot he's got now.
