The reason I love this Democratic primary

I love to see liberals using their race baiting tactics on each other. I've never seen liberals accused of racist remarks like this.

I think their comments have largely been harmless or unintended, Obama saying "typical white people" or Hillary saying something about assassination or "hard working people, white people..."

However, it is nice to see them getting a healthy dose of their own medicine.

I thought you lived in America.

My point was that the type of racism accusations that many people might consider unfounded are typically made by liberals toward white males. Its funny to see it flipped around and have a liberal non-white male trying to deal with it.

Show's what you know. I'm a republican and I'm sure as shit not "color blind." I don't care if you're a rich messican, you're still a messican.

You're probably gonna swallow your tongue, but I was going to vote for Obama. Until I found out that his biggest (for me) selling point, not being a part of the system, is mostly a sham. Plus, he happens to be racist for a group of people that I don't agree with.

I'm sure you've read the quotes from his book "Dreams of my Father" correct? More than anything else that is why I'm not going to vote for him.

Don't have time to dig all of them up but here are a couple:

"It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."

"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites"

"There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white."

"I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, Dubois and Mandela."

so what...probably sounds alot better incontext.

"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites"
you have to take into account where he was and social aspects. example.. I have nothing against mexicans but I don't advertise that my mother is when i'm around group of white people...it's just not the smartest thing to unintentally somewhat outcast yourself if you don't have to.

"There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white."
the sentence was "and white." ??

All valid reasons not to vote for him if you're white. Which is what whites in both groups will come to say.

True, people deny this but they do change once you tell them your background is different than theirs.

I agree, nothing wrong with looking up to people from your race.
