Nice. I love EVO's. I don't know much about the EVO X though. Is it as fast as the Lancer? That will probably be my next car. I'm gonna keep mine for a few more years though. I paid it off a couple years ago so I'm enjoying life wihtout a car payment. The wife wants an X5 when we have a kid so that will probably prolong my Lancer even longer. Ah well, someday... Good for you man.

we think alike. i ended up purchasing it from south coast mitsubishi in CA. the faggots here in Utah prefer to keep the cars on the lot instead of someones driveway.

took me awhile to choose between the EVO and the STI, but when it came down to it the EVO looks better in my mind and cost significantly less.

getting back to the topic of this car. when i went to the dealerships around here only 1 of 3 would actually let me test drive the car. The whole time I was like WTF? are you kidding me. how can a purchase a car I haven't driven yet? they were treating the thing like a damned 911 Turbo or something. one of these guys even quoted me a price of 37000 telling me that there was a 4000 dollar mark up for "regional market mark up" and everyone has it. this is less than 20 min drive from another dealership who didn't have it, but still tried to get me to pay higher than MSRP

Do a lot of research on this and please read their fine print, they will try to get the most money from you.

agreed. im naturally distrustful of these guys. last time I bought a car they tried to switch my interest rates on me. when i caught it he said "its only $20 more a month". When I told him to pay it he choked on his coffee. bastard

    Really cool car Bio-Chem. Congrats.
If not for the shitty brooklyn/manhattan roads i would get something really stiff and sporty like that. Not many places you can realistically open up cars around here, and like i said before the roads shred suspensions up bad. I've gone through two CV Boots and 1 ball joint in the front in a little over a year on my 328iS. I'm going sport/luxury when i finally go for my next car.

lol i had a turbo-charged 355 firebird formula. fully built motor, forged up the ass, f.i. cam, 12 bolt rear, welded roll cage, z06 rims. boost psi ranged from 6 to 15 on 91. miss that girl.

i wouldn't go with hot pink personally, but new Evos are the shiz. can always get it painted something else later. badass car congrats man.

edit: nevermind on the hot pink. you picked a hell of a color, good stuff.

Good choice bio-chem. Your going to have a LOT of fun with that. There's very little on the roads that can compete with an Evo or Impreza.

Try and find some tight backroads and let rip.
