And..welp, these remakes of remakes are getting ridiculous. They couldve used the last guy and just made a sequel.
I agree, I did think the last guy was good for the role....now Travolta, way wrong.
Of all the Marvel movies this should have been one of the easier to make, no need for so much CG.
It could have been as good as Blade or the Crow movies.....blame the directors.

Reason: Too many posts.
Waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias: Jigsaw. With the "Punisher Task Force" hot on his trail and the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go unpunished. Starring Ray Stevenson (HBO’s Rome) as Punisher, Punisher: War Zone is directed by Lexi Alexander and produced by Gale Anne Hurd and Ari Arad. The film’s executive producers are Kevin Feige, Ogden Gavanski, Oliver Hengst and Jeremy Latcham.
Looks lame. I've always thought the Punisher was a crappy comic-book hero. Movies making him out to look so invisible adds to his lameness. Maybe if he were more sneaky about his revenge or whatnot, then it'd make for an interesting character.
A laser sight on a crossbow? It looks like utter shit.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
to improve their lives.

Punisher is badass!
Tom Jane was the last Punisher, and I thought he was good for the role as I've seen the movie a few times (own the DVD).

The idea of him has potential, but he's just too invincible for being a regular guy. I thought the last Punisher played the role okay, but this new guy I don't know.
He is a touch more than a regular guy, no superpowers of course but he isn't just some Joe that picked up a gun for the first time. Movies are always full of bullshyt though, thats why we like 'em.
