    Spider-Man 4? You're Gonna Have to Wait

Spider-Man 4? You're Gonna Have to Wait - Yahoo! News

Looks like everyone's favorite web-slinging superhero is slowly weaving his way back to the box office. Very slowly.
Laura Ziskin, producer of the blockbuster movie franchise starring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, told theater owners from California and Nevada on Thursday that Spider-Man 4 won't hit theaters until at least 2011.
She said there is no script yet and neither Maguire nor director Sam Raimi have signed on.
Spider-Man 3 opened in 2007 to mixed reviews, although that didn't stop the film from grossing a record $59 million its first day out of the gate.
The first three Spidey flicks combined have grossed a whopping $2.5 billion worldwide.

Not big loss. The last movie blew.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Raimi and Maguire have potential though. The first 2 were great.

    Three Spider-Man movies are enough.

It could never come out for all I care, any movie with Kirsten Dunst and Toby Mcguire is unwatchable.

I agree. I've said it before... I am still shocked at how many roles as the leading "hot girl" Kirsten Dunst has gotten. Same goes with Julia Stiles and Neve Campbell (though to a lesser extent because Wild Things was a great movie, even with her in it).

I wouldn't mind seeing another director do Spiderman. Also not a huge fan of Tobey either.

I see nothing wrong with Tobey.
Peter Parker was no Bruce Wayne nor a Tony Starks.

    He was a skinny nerd.

Actually yeah. In the comics, he always made silly jokes that caused a chuckle, tops.

I hate jokes like that. I need the tear jerking politically incorrect taboo stuff.

Though I didnt mind it, I dont know what he was thinking.

I may be against the grain here, but I wanted at least 20-30 more minutes from this movie. I mean, to just throw in Venom like that.. For the longest time, I was trying and trying to see sneak peeks of Venom being in this 3rd installment, so yeah, I was disappointed. They couldve removed Harry's character and focused on Venom to save on time. I mean, shit, that whole team work thing at the end was gay. "Am I interrupting?!"

I liked the team work at the end, but Venom shouldn't even have been in the movie. Venom needed an entire movie for itself.
