I don't like the term "African-American" I don't like "Black History Month" I don't like "Black National Anthem" things like that do nothing but isolate blacks from the rest of America. Be an American, celebrate American history, sing the National Anthem. This is not directed at you at all, but just expressing my personal feelings on the whole situation.

My point was merely to illustrate, as had been postulated in this thread, that blacks are largely responsible for keeping racism alive. It is a generalization, and certainly does not apply to all individuals, doesn't appear to apply to you at all. Problem is, we only hear about idiots like this woman who decided to make a political statement instead of honoring her country and veterans like yourself with the National Anthem, or about Jesse Jackson, Sharpton, Wright, etc... Perhaps it's a vocal minority, or 50%, or whatever, but it's all we hear.
