Today I'm picking up my first firearm. I'm getting the glock 21-.45 a.c.p.
Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on this badboy? I'm very excited to start this new "expensive" hobby!

what's your history with guns? more importantly what is your history with hand guns?
Stay away from any watch towers.
Don't have much...shot my dads 22 back in the day...been doing a lot of research and spoke to a lot of close people who shoot regularly and decided on this piece.Quote:

Ive always liked guns that are functional as well as sexy. a glock has reliability and functionality to spare, but there is no sexiness to it. it is really a rather ugly gun. If i was a cop im sure i would own oneQuote:

Glock is an excellent choice.
I'm trying to part with a GOVT 10mm right now,
and one of the guys I work with, told me he wouldn't buy it because
he's using nothing but single mech autos...
Every handgun he has is now a Glock of different size and caliber.
(I wouldn't do that, but shows you how much they are loved)
I personally have always prefered H&K
for the way they are put together, but mostly the feel.

i like taurus as i have said before. recently picked up a baby eagle. i have not had a chance to take it out yet. i am really not a fan of glocks, i dont like the look or feel of the gun.
brought the .45 home last night...I can't wait to unload some rounds...ammo was around 20 bucks a box...i'm already looking into my next one, yea I know im being really anxious here but i've got a lot of catching up to do..does anyone have any feedback on the springfield armories new xd models?
