wow, I'm surprised to see Letterman take it so personally, but it really was a slap in the face to get caught on CBS, which is clearly going to get more political viewers. It's like standing up one date for a chick that's more likely to put out.

McCain is like "I don't want to be President if this mess is going to get handed to me..."

Letterman is a douchebag who's in the tank for BarryO anyway, why would McCain want to waste his time with him.

Why wouldn't he.... he is doing a show that relies on guest appearances. Then to be lied to about going back to washington, to only see him doing the katie curic show?

But yes we need McCain back in washington to help solve the financial crisis, the same dipshit who just weeks ago said the economy was strong.

This guy has been so adamant about getting to Washington as fast as possible, canceling debates in the process, yet he has time to do the Katie Couric evening show?

He completely lied to try and better his campaign and was caught in the process. He's scum and I wish he had died when he was held captive two centuries ago.

This is the first election I'm able to vote in and I must say, I had no interest in registering to vote at this point in my life until it became clear that McCain had a chance of becoming president.

I thought he was just trying to be funny and make Mcain look like an ass, although Mcain makes himself look like an ass all on his own, so Letterman really did not need to help him.

I am sure Letterman is really concerned that McCain suspended his campaign. Like Letterman is really deprived of so much when McCain decides to give fewer stump speeches so he can be in Washington. Or perhaps he is happy with McCain suspending his campaign, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to rip on Palin.
