Obama is about to get served

After watching the first responses I have concluded Obama is about to get his ass handed to him.

try not to have an open mind or anything.

Sure, just about everyone has chosen sides; meaning, they're either waiting for Obama to stumble or McCain to have a stroke. But by the end of the night nothing will have changed. They're just going to secure their already decided votes and possibly convince a few Undecides based on their wardrobe and posture, but they're not gonna change anybody's mind. There's not gonna be a "landslide" either way, it'll just be

I watched the first question and through my bias-ed glasses I thought Obama looked like a deer in headlights, McCain seemed more comfortable. I think with a foreign policy centered debate McCain will shine. On the other hand he looks old as hell and Biden is gonna devour Palin on Thursday, the only mistake he can make is pounding he so hard that people feel bad for her.

    I agree.

This election has gone on for 22 months.

There are only a small percentage of "undecided" or "fence sitters," left, IMO.

The debates are viewed by our own biases.

I don't expect much of a swing in the polling numbers.

And also, don't waste your time listening to the "analysts" try to spind the debates.

Most Americans just watch and make a general impression.

Thanks god when this election is over. 35 days, or so.

Pretty much nailed it, nothing meaningful is said in these "debates."

that's true, but you wouldn't know it based on post debate discussion. CNN says Obama destroyed McCain, FoxNews says McCain has this wrapped with a bow. How can anyone say so-and-so "won" with this much bias? What the hell is the media even for? Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to have a country where we can bash on our president on a 24 hour channel, but we're not using our freedom with responcibility.

Seemed to be a tie, and a waste of time to me.

Nothing really came out of it: I think that alone gives the advantage of the first debate to Obama.

Obama ‘flew by’ commander-in-chief test, advisers say
    By Sam Youngman

Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama’s campaign manager said Saturday that the Illinois senator “not only passed” the commander-in-chief test in Friday night’s debate, but “flew by it.”
David Plouffe told reporters that the campaign was “thrilled” with how Obama handled himself against Republican rival Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), saying that he “did a world of good last night with undecided voters.”
