Here's a quick nutshell on October 4th, 08.

The following is based on polling data averages from at least 11 different polling organizations:

The RNC is spending time & money in Indiana and Missouri. This is a very bad sign for McCain.

Another very bad sign for McCain is that he is leading in Indiana by 1.8%.

McCain has lost Iowa and New Mexico, which Kerry won in 2004.

If McCain loses one of the following states, McCain loses:

Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, or Florida.

If nothing changes, Obama will win. If....nothing changes, or nothing "big" or "bad" happens.
