Thread: AFL-CIO Mailer Touts Obama On Guns, Jobs

Obama will be the most anti-second amendment president in history. The fact that he is getting away cleanly with this pro-gun lie is a testament to how biased and criminal our media is.

Obama has failed to cast a single pro-gun vote in his career as a politician. I challenge anyone to find a single contradiction to that statement. His handwriting is on a document saying he supports a complete ban on handguns, the number 1 gun used for self defense in America. He is on the record supporting the DC gun ban, which banned handguns and required all shotguns and rifles to be rendered in operable at all times, even in the event of a selfdefense situation. He has supporting banning almost all types of ammunition used in self defense, hunting, and sporting. He has supported banning all gun stores within a 5 mile radius of a school or park, which would be nearly every gun store in the country; the county I live in has over 420 parks.

The fact that he is getting away with this lie is absurd.

or just how gullible the public is to an effective marketing campaign....there are two things important things the midwest and southern voters go by:

taxes and guns.

then again, I'm not really surprised the AFL-CIO is buddy buddy with him...they've rubber stamped the DNC for decades.

Don't forget Obama supports the "employee free choice act" which is probably the most deceptively named piece of legislation in history. It would take away the right of workers to vote via secret ballot if they want to unionize or not. So of course the AFL-CIO will shill for this disgrace of a presidential candidate. The irony of "Democrats" supporting this extremely undemocratic law is hilarious, but not surprising in the least.

I'd also encourage people to look up info on the "American Hunters and Shooters Association" which is nothing less than a phony organization created 2 years ago to support Democrat candidates. AHSA is about gun-control, not second amendment rights. It's such a pathetic attempt at deception.

He's trying to look like a badass so that other caricatures of guys like him with the crew cut, sunglasses and tight t-shirts to make their fat arms look muscular MIGHT relate to him and then think well if this badass trusts Obama then I'm gonna to, too!

I certainly agree that our media is completely inthe tank for Obama, but they're not to blame for this attrocity, this is a union add. Along those same lines I've sent a letter of protest to our city council because the fire houses in Las Vegas all have signs out front promoting Obama. I don't care if they have an Obama sign on their union house, but the actual fire houses are paid for by my tax dollars, they have no business endorsing any political candidates. I wonder when the ACLU is going to show up and file a law suit against them.

Obama's going to have his hands too full to be trying anything that might effect our constitutional rights. Not only will the economy put him through the grinder, but our military engagements will put him to the test.....
