    Favorite Killswitch Engage song

What is your favorite Killswitch Engage song if you are into their music. In this pole I basically have my top5 favotire KSE songs listed from top to bottom, "my curse" being the first because its the song that got me loving KSE and the beginning and ending of the song are the most beautiful sounds in metal to ever enter my ears.

    None of those.

Numbered Days and Just Barely Breathing take the prize.

Everything after that album pales in comparison, also.

    Both.

Think Jesse was a far more varied and interesting vocalist, i enjoy that.

As for the songs, their older ones (Alive Or Just Breathing in particular) were somewhat more complex than their more recent ones, they seem to be a lot more straightforward now, and focus more on hooks than aggression.

I like hooks, but i got into Killswitch because of those other elements.

I'd probably like it if they were another band altogether, but because they're still the same band i cant enjoy it since their older style was superior.

We Don't Need Another Hero cover.....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Yea my curse is the best song in my opinion (the non scream version) from kse, mostly because it combines beautiful and deep guitar sounds and badass metal perfectly, i like holy diver too but i dont think its nearly as deep as my curse or really deep at all lol
