I can faintly remember hearing that, but it was hard to hear anything over the sound of my self having sex with men.

    wait what?

I saw August Rush recently too that was a cool movie about music I remember as a kid making music with sounds all the time especially on long boring roadtrips I'd hear the steady rhythm of the tires on the road with the beat of them hitting the gap between each section and I'd work to try to make it synch up with whatever song was on the radio. So when I saw the kid in the movie making the same connections a lot of my childhood came pouring back.....

no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Excellent movie. That combined with Randy Pousch's last lecture, has changed my life.

The Man from Earth was a great movie. Boy A was also a really good movie. Other than that, can't say I've seen anything real good other then the obvious ones.

The River a 1951 film by Jean Renoir which I had read influenced Wes Anderson to make The Darjeeling Limited, it's a beautiful movie with great music and stunning visuals like the opening scene where women are making a lotus flower with rice flour which is a vivid white.....I've also been listening to Darjeeling Limited radio alot lately on Last.fm because I love the music....

    To view the opening scene...

I'm going to try and get some of Satyajit Ray's movies he's seems to be one of the greats from what I've read....a real renaissance man as well..
