    Damn I'm tired.

I feel like I got eaten by a wolf and shit off a cliff. I am on a Navy ship in the on the other side of the planet and all I have to do (other than work) is lift all day. I haven't taken a day off from training in like 10 days and today it's finally caught up with me. I woke up this morning feeling like I had my ass whipped with a bag of doorknobs. I have been lifting for 15 years and this is the first time, that I can remember, feeling this way. What sucks is hitting the gym is my only break during my 18 hour days 7 days a week. It keeps me sane and if I stop working out for a day I'm afraid I will get used to it and take multiple days off. This sucks balls.

Stop whining I had to work my 18 hours and then do other shit like unrep and flying over to the carrier for crypto swap and VBSS and berthing duty....Sometimes I wouldn't get sleep for 36 hours....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

You and me both. 18 hours is just the time I spend in my work space, that doesn't include Crew Serve Weapons watches, DCPO duty, General Quarters almost every day, UNREP and VERTREP, Surface Warfare and Air Warfare boards and exams I am studying for, Online college courses, LCAC Ops, berthing cleaners, I also work directly for the CO, XO, and Commadore, as well as painting 90% of the murals in the Hangar Bay, on the LCACs, the Helo's, the Harriers etc. I have stayed up 36 hours fairly regularly on this deployment, and then when I finally get to sleep it's only for like 3 or 4 hours if I'm lucky.
