So you pay 675$ for 36 months and what do you get after 36 months?
So, To me, the most hated people in the world are First) lawyers Second) Car Dealers and third) Dentists....LOL
Let see if any of you can help me out wiht this since I havn't been able to find good infor online...........Im looking at a new car lease and I have driven most cars I can think of that I would be interested in....Well at the end of that I am really interested at the 2009 Infiniti G35 Coupe All Wheel drive (first AWD system for the coupe ever)..The car is 46K which is in my price range, im not reall interested in any others....So last night the dealer and I start the showroom price battle on a lease and he does the typical back an forth to the "managers", who were acting like I was there to rip them off instead of the other way around....After negotiations I we came to an agreement............taxes, licensing, and acusition and first payment of 1700.00 dollars and then 675.00 Dollars a month for 36 months with 12k miles a year, I still think that this is too high on a freaking lease where im not going to own the car at the end....any of you math geniouses know if that is a decent deal or not??? for a car of that price??

I enjoying fucking with car salesmen. As long as you know how the game is played it can be lots of fun. My family and friends bring me when they're purchasing a new vehicle. Seems people get so intimidated by either the dealers or the process that they're overwhelmed and give in. That's what the dealers are hoping for.
1st Make sure you know what you're willing to pay for the given vehicle with all options you desire.
2nd Know your credit score. Most dealers will fuck you in the financing department by adjusting your APR a point or two thus making more money.
3rd Most dealers tack on dealer fees that they say are not negotiable. Trust me, everything is negotiable. Make sure your bottom line includes this. Some dealer fees can top $899 and unless you're careful they'll slide it right past you.

Why not just finance a car for 5 years? Then you own it and don't have any payments. Its great.
Personally I lease and have for the quite some time. Actually I own one and lease the other but that's another story.
Leasing has it's advantages. I drive 15-17k annually and routinely get a new vehicle every 3 years. I lease through my business which gives me a small tax write off as well. If I purchased a car every three years with a 5 year loan I would pay much more per month and more than likely have negative equity at each trade in.
Now if you're a lifer with vehicles definitely purchase.
well, i figured that most of you will go this route (I havnt read ll the posts yet)...BUT... Leasing makes sence to me, I'll be the first to admit that im a material guy, I like to have Breitling watches, Lucky jeans, fany shoes and a Nice car.....I understand that some people don;t care about those things but I do, it is something I take pleasure in, just like some people Like bodybuilding and some people like soccer......I get bored with cars easily and 3 yaears is plenty of time to have them, I dont drive a lot of miles either because I have a work car so leasing miles are good, so BUYING a car is not a good option becasue of all the depreciacion that it will go thru, after three years, most people are still upside down in their cars.....But i also understand people who have the discipline to buy and keep a car for 5+ years, I respect that......In my mind I figure tho, I work very hard for all the things that I have, why not buy a nice car if I really enjoy it on the weekends......

LOL, I hate evos, I had a Limited Leather STI that I PURCHASED 3 years ago when I made my first money...And I quickly started to hate that thing, its good for nothing but going fast from 0-60, it used to be cool, but now Im in the mood for a adult luxury sports coupe, and you gota admit, the infiniti is up there wiht the best of them......So what do you think is a good deal for that car if I only pay 1700.00 which only coveres initial fees and NO DOWN PAYMENT....I dont freaking believe in down payments when leasing a car thats not going to be mine at the end...
You've never lived untill you've almost died, life has an excitement that the protected will never know.
yeah I agree as well.....I own my own business on the side and Leasing lets me write off gas, tax and payments which is nice...Leasing makes a lot of sence if you dont keep cars around for long..

I feel the same.
First rule of leasing and getting a good rate is the total price you're willing to pay for the lease vehicle. This would be the actual cash price.
Second, find out the residual value of this vehicle for the given lease time period.
Third, you must know the money factor their using. The money factor is no different then an interest rate so the better your score the better the money factor.
After these are determined the number (monthly payment) will magically appear.
OK, the best I could find was based on 2008 models so this might be just a hair off. Also, isn't the 2009 coupe the G37 not 35?
Anyway, the residual value for 15K miles @ 36 months is between 58-60%. The best money factor you could expect is .002992.
Using a cash value of $39000 (which I can't confirm as the best price because this is a new model but should be close) and a 60% residual with a money factor of .002992 and 7% tax with nothing down.
36 months $664

Me, also. I have never made a car payment in my life. Both cars I owned I paid cash up front. I drove my first car till the wheels feel off...literally.
My current car has 170,000 miles and I will drive it until the cost of maintenance is more than just purchasing another used piece of shit. I don't need a new car bad enough to pay those outrageous monthly payments.
“I used to do drugs. I still do drugs. But I used to, too.”
truthfully, to find the best car deals look up an infinity car forum and find out what the dealers are offering. its a great way to get some knowledge before you enter the dealership. and the new evo's are way different than a STI. the new MR for 35,000 is a much better deal than a 45,000 g35. I don't think you get that much more for the 10k extra. just a name. where you will see the bonus is in service, but you are leasing anyway so thats less of an issue
