Yeah, Ohio just dropped.. McCain is done. Pretty disappointing.

I guess the thing to look forward to is 2012 after the country will get a taste of 4 years of the radical left. Maybe then they will actually spend time learning about the candidate rather than voting for the cool guy.

And at least the Republicans held on to enough seats to filibuster.

Pretty remarkable to me that Palin scored so low on experience & they elected Obama.

Thank the media for that one...

I thought she was a good choice till she open her mouth.
Your too smart to not know how bad she was.

How is my vote helping Ralph Nader?
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Somehow I get the feeling that if he preforms a miracle and fixes things up you still won't approve of him, in fact you may just give Bush the credit.

Please correct me if I am wrong but that is sort of being selfish.

this was going to happen regardless of who won. The first hiccup either candidate has as president is going to have half the country screaming "I told ya so!" The first good thing either candidate does as president is going to be either because of Bush or not done as well or as soon as X would have done it, if not ignored altogether.

Not at all. He's wasn't my choice, but he's now my President. I love my country & want the best for it. I was disappointed & was venting, but cooled off pretty quickly actually. God bless him & I pray he can be the President we need.

I hated the anti-Bush crowd for years for their blaming Bush for everything & giving him credit for nothing, and I will do my best not to imitate them.

And no: I will not disown Palin... Palin 2012!! But tonight's Obama's... he's earned it.

Agreed. This was the change this country needed. Names and vulgarities never left this vessel. The path we were on had to be altered, only more of the same could be promised from Mccain.

Now, that this is behind us, let us all unite, and be what was once promised to us by valient individuals, we are UNITED, the united states of America.

You sound like the typical Obama voter. You vote based on stupid slogans, and probably have little understanding of his policies.

Negative. Stupid slogans? What were these past 8 years a mirage? Sounds like you voted on stupidity based on your wallet, not what's best for the country! Were you ever in the service? If not, then enlist. We'll see then how you feel!

Premier is the the upper middle class, and he's white. He know what Obama and an all Democrat government means. It means that he's going to get the shit taxed out of him.

It amazes me how few middle class people understand this. They'll all get their wake up call over the next four years.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

I think most voters know that Obama will tax them more than McCain. However I also believe that voters didn't care. Taxes do not bother me so much as what the taxes are used for. I haven't heard anyone claim that McCain would tax the more than Obama.

I care more about cultural change and growth rather than wars in the middle east. If it requires more taxes, than so be it.
