Killing the mind

When someone kills another person using a gun, does the gun go to jail?
No because the responsible for the crime is the person who used the gun.

But is the body responsible? Death sentence usually when well done kills the body very well. But the responsible for the crime is the mind not the body. If in the future they invented a way to kill the sick mind, kill all of it but not the body, do you think killing the mind would be a fair sentence? Would you agree? So the criminal would be born again and have another chance to be a better person.

Like a lobotomy for just the part of the brain that triggered them to act how they did? What if one day we could scan the quadrants of the mind to find which part had flashed over and gotten out of hand and put some kind of mental circuit breaker in there to prevent it happening again?

I'd put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don't have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that."

You can't kill the mind. You can only transform it.
People do bad things because of their ignorant mind. When you fix that ignorant mind, you fix the person. Every action we commit starts from our mind. No need for death sentence. Just help people become better people.
