Thread: help my find the name of this movie

I gave this a long thought and came up with nothing. Do you know about what time it came out? Was it a popular movie? Actors?

i can't recall the players i know the rich guy she called him good sugar. in the beginning the weird guy creeps her out a lot. the rich guy is getting ready to move and she thinks he's going to take her and he doesn't maybe his nickname for her was snow bunny or something like that.

tess wants me to find it. we watched it a while back n i can't recall the name. might have something to do with moon.

the fortune teller shakes bones.

Too bad my Iphone can't do what it can with songs for movies.....
I can hum a song or sing it really bad or type in lyrics or if I hear a song in a store or on the radio I can hold it up to the sound and it will search the database and find the song name and artist and give me an option to hear it, play it in youtube or buy it from Itunes......I've already used it twice in stores to find song names for my girlfriend....

Does this movie have Bayou in the name? How old was it? What channel might it have been on?

oh man. i have the gift and it's what i came up with too. that's a good one billy bob thornton wrote it. not it though.

the boyfriend beats her the guy you think is a weirdo kinda stalker type really loves her and he ends up her hero. he is the guy the fortune teller predicted. the rich guy just uses her then leaves her behind when he moves.

i think it might. i thought maybe moon too or something about trees. it's driving me nuts. and whoever thought to make the iphone do that needs a bonus. i think its ten years or less old. and i dled so i'm not sure it was made for tv.

i couldn't think of this song for months then when we were in canada it played in a store.

Yep, there are 2 apps that can do it one is Midomi and the other is Shazam.....I used to loathe the Iphone until I got one for free now I just went out and bought the 3G 16gig one for my early Christmas Present, I've got all kinds of ebooks, listen to streaming internet radio in my car watch youtube vids in bed at night before I sleep usually trippy art vids like this.....

b movie, we know none of the actors. i know it's not a lot to go on just if someone has seen it the plot should ring a bell. i'm thinking within the last ten years.

Hay I have been looking for this movie too! Did you ever find the name of it?? It's driving me crazy!! I remember the whole thing of a young girl in the swamp with an abusive boyfriend and the weirdo friend who is always looking at her weirding her out then he ends up killing the abusive boyfriend and she tries to run off with the rich guy who is a banker or accountant.. i remember it's raining outside and that's it. Please tell me you have found the name!!

Dude I spent a good amount of time looking for the name of this movie with the clues you gave us. Nothing would come up. Now I want to watch this movie even though it sounds cheezy.

no. i was thinking the girl was one of the blonde beverly hills 90210 girls but searched their movies and nothing fit. i think the name has to do with a tree that's in the swamp where the weird guy murders the boyfriend. there's a detective that plays a central role. it keeps showing like a storm celler or something dark and you get the idea she used to hide there from childhood abuse. the rich guy she's fooling around with wears wireframe glasses and is kinda weasely. he's an actor i've seen in a lot of things with brownish blonde short hair and i think a mole on his face. a john boy walton type but not him. i originally dled the movie because i liked the name a cool name but entirely forgettable i guess.

Gosh this is crazy.. lol. I remember I watched the movie between March and April of 2008.. i can't remember what channel and I didn't recognize any of the actors. I remember after watching the movie thinking I have to tell my boyfriend to watch this movie with me cause it was just so weird. lol. But like you Little Wing I forgot the name of it. I have searched and searched and have had no luck in finding it. I was so excited when I saw your forum about it then I realized I found someone that has the same problem as I do..lol. but at least now I'm not alone in the search anymore. Hopefully one of us will get this figured out. I do remember the girl having blonde hair and the rich guy wearing glasses. It was late at night when this movie came on so I don't remember too many details. I know the boyfriend went out and sold drugs or something for a living or stole things and sold them I can't really remember but he would come home and they would fight and he would beat her up. I have tried every way I know how to find this movie and no luck. :/

i think he has her chained up near the beginning when he leaves and the weird guy has her shoe right before he and the bf drive off in an old pick up. it was under pretense of just having drinks for his birthday that the weird guy lures him to the swamp. the detective thinks she did it.
