    ridiculously random

Ok so I'm bored as hell and my neurons are firing at random.....I always seem to look at foreign individuals as less intelligent. I'm watching man made marvels and these engineers in singapore are discussing their work. I mean obviously they're well educated and intelligent but the accent just throws me off. I just automatically feel like they're inferior but I honestly know they're not. I don't get it. Anyone else do this?

hahah yea I feel the same way

a lot of it I think has to do with foreigners trying to speak English on television but struggling to do so because of their accent, or possibly lack of knowing our language real well, so it just makes them sound unintelligent....

Einstein would sound the same in any other language that he wasn't extremely fluent in IMO....

Let's say some foreigner developed a super speed rocket ship or whatever lol

"I invent super speed rocket ship tat goez to the moooon"

hahah try saying that and sounding intelligent....

Just like people in England all sound intelligent and proper which is the opposite effect

thats what I'm saying.....I mean I can know that a person is really smart but I still feel like they're below average just because of the way they sound.....these kinda things interest me. I wonder if the japanese or those middle eastern Dr. types feel the same way about us.

makes me almost sympathize with countries like those in the middle east. They hate us, at least for the most part. I bet it has a lot to do with this attitude, that we are american and therefore automatically superior. It doesn't seem obvious to us but I bet from outside it looks that way. Plus we're always taking some role at international police, sticking our noses in others' business.

I only experience this when talking to people about do it your self solar electricity, but I come by it honestly. It's kind of hard for me to believe a guy can understand how to program a complicated charge controller or even understand proper grounding and load control when he comes in wanting to know what he needs to know to install photovolactic solar on his house....if you can't pronounce it you have no business trying to install it.....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

lol imagine trying to explain to a 70 yr old peruvian man that his prostate is enlarged and he needs a beta blocker because we don't have the right meds......right after you just stuck your index finger into his ass. No scope of practice in the Andes.
