i rent an old drafty victorian house. cover your windows with nice thick drapes. old quilts are good and look nice if you like that sorta thing... use rugs and more rugs.

you can get a little electric heater like this

at walmart for about 20 bucks n they won't raise your light bill much. i have one in each bedroom and wear more clothes everywhere else. wool is your friend.

Shit I had to turn the temp up on my air conditioner from 65 to 72, it got down to 65 the other night, brrrrrrrrr.......

We just had an ice and snow storm and its currently raining again. So needless to say I've turned off the heat, opened all the windows and doors and stripped off all my clothes save for my lucky jock strap.

I also live in Minnesota. And it indeed is cold as hell.

Just walking into school today was horrible.

Far from wonderful. My apt near campus is in the middle of a valley that funnels insane weather patterns, seriously the weather changes at the drop of a hat. While my parents home is nestled against a hill and gets little to no direct sunlight in the winter. We've had snow here until late may while the rest of the neighborhood is warm and snowless.....lol it seriously looks like that scene from Hook when Robin Williams rolls down the hill and all of a sudden there's snow.

And when it does rain it only rains for 5 minutes. Not enough to enjoy it, just enough necessitate a car wash.

Like Little Wing said, get a space heater.

    Ouch.

    It's about 90 F degrees where I'm at.

Sunshine & blue sky....and this is the coldest it gets.

Don't knock the weather too much, nine out of ten people couldn't start a conversation if it didn't change once in awhile!
