I figure I'll start this thread now since I'm gonna be sorta buisy working this X-Mas.

So, what did you all get from Santa?

I'll tell you later when I get my gifts.

I had 3 new hats, a few tops/shirts, batman slippers, a Dan Abnett book (WH40K), Warrel Dane's "Praises to the Warmachine" album, some grippers (shop bought grippers, not CoC), and a high quality skipping rope.

And the best one was my significant other of nearly six years made me a scrapbook of our relationship with photos and stuff!

    All in all, very happy

    Merry Xmas everybody!

My best two presents: A WWE mini replica championchip belt and Mac Make Up from my parents.

My worst two presents: A Supercuts gift certificate from my aunt and a dollar bill with Santa's mug from my mom.

i got to get my kids stuff. good enough for me. my mom gives me stuff for crafting so often who needs presents? there's Christmas every time they come to Bangor anyway. i gave her some antique brooches for her collection.

my brother gave me a big surprise for Christmas. he mentioned money i helped him out with long ago. i told him not to worry about it to concentrate on getting their house built... the surprise was i jokingly said you can knit me a sweater and he said he can my mom taught him when he was a teenager. i'm trying to learn again now after a few failed attempts many years ago.

I won't know what I got till Tanya gets back from visiting her family. But I got a call this morning to find a present that Santa left me last night, and I got Chrono Trigger for the DS! Freaking sweet! And yeah, it's a must have for the DS so far. I'm loving the new translation even

On top of all the stuff I'd mentioned earlier I got some shirts with lions on them, an expensive transparent watch where you can see the movements, a super soft smoking jacket to wear in my study, another leather bound journal with a fountain pen, and a lump of coal bubble gum.....

The usual, Sox, shirts, gift cards, but with a hell of a Christmas eve dinner and celebration! Oh yeah, some new Taylor Made golf clubs.

My husband built me a sunrise.

He's a whiz with electronics, looked up the schematic on the internet and built a sunrise with a timer so you can say when you want the sun to come up in the morning - makes getting up in the morning easier; the room just gradually gets brighter.

He also got me a handheld Dremel (it's okay, I wanted one LOL!) and a to DIE for leopard print coat at Bebe that I was just SICK about!

There. Other than being excited over the Dremel, did I sound enough like a girl?

My wife's got TWO Dremels and a million friggin little parts for it. She loves that thing. I probably couldn't even turn the thing on.

Speaking of wives, she bought me a homebrew startup kit. My first batch will be a double IPA.

Mom bought me a bunch of ties. Like, eight of 'em. I am a tie whore.

My GF has a dremel for her jewelry making, I have a grinder, and a few cutting discs that fit my drill for real work. But I do have to say on my small projects that Dremel is great, like when I wanted to hang my computer speakers next to my monitor I used the Dremel to bore holes in the tops of each one, my drill doesn't even close small enough for a bit as small as the holes I made were since I used fine wire to hang them.....

I have a confession, Christmas never stops at my house, my GF went out yesterday and bought me a new messenger bag for carrying my laptop or my books and journals to work and the coffee shop. Let me tell you this bag is nice like something Indiana Jones would use. Soft aged dark brown leather, pockets for my pens and books and padded section for my laptop....
