She's got the looks and a decent voice, better looking than Clay Aiken and the rest of the people they've put through just needs to work on the voice...

But my highlight of the show was Ryan Seacrest trying to high five a blind guy.....what a dunce.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

I with to church and high school with at least 20 girls that were way better than her. She is plain, with a voice that tons of people have. Also, I don't watch American Idol because I think everybody on that show sucks nards. My musical taste just won't let me enjoy that stuff.

I think it's pretty cool. Before it, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, David Cook, Chris Daughtry, etc. were unheard of.

Carrie Underwood's my personal favorite from AI.

Well sure, they have to good, or they wouldn't make it to the finals. But, I am a snob when it comes to my art and coffee. Its one of those things where I have a hang up thinking that what I like is the greatest and everybody else's sucks.

By the way, that isn't grammatically correct is it? "I always thought I could make "else" possessive.

I watch it off and on because it's one of my GF's favorite shows. The only season that really had me interested though is when Taylor Hicks was on. Generally I watch the auditions because it's funny then the rest of the season I'm either on my laptop or reading while she watches.

One person who stands out this season to me is the Indian dude who was kind of geeky but busted out some pure soul.....

I knew at least one other person felt the same as I do on the subject.

I'll cut you some slack on this one considering the circumstances. My last girlfriend was a lifetime junky, so I had to watch Golden Girls with her if I wanted poontang.

I agree. When the woman has control of the remote, all bets are off.
