And I'm sure she will bear those burdens. This is why zoos exist. I don't understand why people feel the need to have Alligators and chimps and shit as pets. Unless you're a handicapped person who needs a 15 pound monkey to help you turn on the TV, keep these things in the wild and the zoo.

The saddest thing is that after 5-7 years of age chimps start to become more aggressive even for research facilities. That's why facilities like Chimp Haven exist so they can rescue them and give them a retirement home. People don't realize chimps can live 40-60 years and the males are usually kept in check by the females in the wild. The problem with human owners is that women like Travis' owner are those soft-hearted gaia-earthmother types who lack the attitude to keep mis-behavior in check much like in the Zoo's where mothers and sons are separated and conflicts and bullying has been observed more so than in wild groups.....
